KickRSS has been languishing a bit over the last few months. That will be changing very shortly. We’ve got a huge pile of plans for the site, which should emerge over the next month or so - so keep an eye out for them!

In related news, we’ve had a bad bit of downtime today, and once more had an enforced refresh of the database (the database table that was holding all of the article information is now reading ‘in use’, and refuses to work again). I’ve also reduced the number of days that articles are held in the database from 60 to 30, in the hope that things will speed up around here a bit as a result. Finally, I’ve multi-threaded the fetching script, so updates to the content should be a lot quicker coming as a result.
